Barb + Keith

My parents. I really have no idea where I would be without them. They are my greatest cheerleaders, nurturers of my heart, and protectors. I love them beyond words. Within the past year they packed up their lives in Georgia and moved back home to our beloved Montana. My mom retired from her decades long teaching career and my dad said goodbye to his family. They left their best friends, their beautiful home, and all they had known for the previous 16 years, all to be back home near their children and grandchildren. They have taught me perseverance, what not giving up looks like, and the blessing that dwells in your heart after 38 years of marriage. I have seen them go through difficult years, heartache, and being one another's best friend through it all. It was so much fun having them on the other side of my camera, and also being able to do so back in Montana. We only dreamed about the day when our family was back together in our home state. I am grateful for all the dots on the map throughout the years and even more grateful they led us all back to the Northwest. {Headwaters State Park, Montana}
